2018 Niigata Pageant of Lights

The rows of trees that line Keyaki-Dori just outside of Nigata Station’s South Exit are illuminated by around 260,000 bulbs of light! The resplendent lights are sure to warm the hearts of everyone in attendance.

Lake Haruna Illumination Festa 2018

Located at the summit of Mt. Haruna, in Gunma Prefecture’s Takasaki City, Lake Haruna is at an altitude of 1,084 meters above sea level, making it the second highest lake in Japan! Due to this, the air at the lake is very clear, making the lights of the Illumination Festa even more beautiful.

Hitachi Starlight Illumination 2018

Hitachi’s annual light illumination, “Hitachi Starlight Illumination,” will be held in 2017 at the Hitachi Civic Center’s Public Square, which is reminiscent of medieval Europe, and the JR Hitachi Station. The Public Square will be brilliantly illuminated by colorful lights that signify a variety of themes and meanings. The Public Square will be an excellent place to visit this year with family!

Illumination of Yebisu Garden Place

Yebisu Garden Place is beautifully illuminated each year as a winter tradition. Features include a 10-meter-tall Christmas tree, around 100,000 bulbs lit up in champagne gold, and even the world’s oldest chandelier, made by Baccarat, a traditional and innovative company with a history of over 250 years.
