Summer is the season for outdoor activities!
This year, after visiting Kozushima, I decided to go on a second camping trip.
I decided to go with Lake Motosu in Yamanashi Prefecture for my second trip, which is around a 2-hour drive from the heart of Tokyo.
Osaka’s “Hirakata Park” is a hugely popular theme park with over 40 different attractions. Go have a blast at their summertime pool, “The Boon”!
It also makes for a great spot for photos to upload onto social media!
From June 30 to September 25, 2018, the Laguna Ten Bosch pool will be open!

This theme park, designed with the Japanese’s beloved image of Hawaii as the land of everlasting summer, contains pools, hot springs, a hotel, and more! It is also famous for its appearance in the Japanese film “Hula Girls.”
As the name “Spa Resort” suggests, hot spring water is used even in the resort’s pools. (The water in the children and infants pool is not hot spring water.)

Tokyo Summerland is an amusement park where guests can enjoy pools and thrilling attractions!
The indoor space is jam-packed with tropical atmosphere, and it features huge beach-like pools, waterslides, kiddy pools, and warm water spas (particularly popular with women). Even on days with bad weather, visitors can enjoy swimming!
