Fukuoka Prefecture is known all over Japan for its gourmet restaurants.
Among its variety of gourmet dishes, Fukuoka is famous for its delicious "Saba" mackerel fish.
This time, I'd like to introduce what I have fallen in love with, the "All-Mackerel" course at Sabaro Restaurant!
“Matsu Sushi” is located a short ways into an alley off of the “Kitabatake Park Main Street Shopping District” in Osaka. It has been open for 50 years, and it has many fans who appreciate its fresh seafood and carefully crafted dishes. It even has a reputation as having great value for the food you get! This time I decided to stop by for lunch.
“Houchou Ippon” is a tucked-away Japanese restaurant in Kitahama, a business district of Osaka.
They offer authentic Japanese foods made with seasonal ingredients, so it’s often used for business meals and the like.
I heard that you can get a great lunch for a reasonable price here, so I went in for a visit.

Yes, you read that right. You’ll have to book your lunch 2 years in advance here. And when I arrived, the restaurant was at full capacity with people who had done just that.

Shizuoka Prefectuer is located at the foot of Mt. Fuji, Japan’s tallest mountain. Currently the prefecture is hosting the “Shizuoka Destination Campaign,” which focuses on attracting tourists to the prefecture for three months, from April through June of 2019.
“Maizuru Port Toretore Center” is the michi-no-eki, or road station, with the largest seafood market near the Sea of Japan. You can have the fish at the various stalls either cooked or prepared into sashimi for you, letting you dig in to the fresh fish right then and there!
On December 27th of 2018, the izakaya “Aomori Nebuta World Shinbashi Store” opened. The restaurant is themed after the famous “Aomori Nebuta Matsuri,” a festival held in Aomori Prefecture, and the interior decorations beautifully capture the moving atmosphere of the festival!

I visited Hakodate for 3 days and 2 nights over the winter. There was no end to things I wanted to do, but I was more than satisfied with being able to take the photo I wanted of Hakodate in the winter being both “sunny” and “snowy.”
