“Ginza Kagari Honten” is a ramen restaurant that opened at the end of 2018. The restaurant Michelin-recognized as Bib Gourmand, and it’s so popular that there is always a long line. It specializes in chicken-based ramen, and its beautiful arrangement and elegant interior make it feel like a high-class Japanese restaurant. I decided to stop by for lunch.
Since it opened in March of 2017, Ramen Kobo Mensaku has enjoyed a good reputation as a cheap and tasty place, so I went to check it out.
Shibuya is known as being one of the most trendy, fashion-forward places on earth. Busy intersections and unique youth culture are a couple other images that come to mind.
However, contrary to popular belief, there are in fact traces of old Japan hidden amongst the bright lights and shopping malls of Shibuya. KIRAKU is one of such places. This ramen shop has been in business for over 60 years—since 1952 to be exact! With patrons of various ages, from youth to the elderly, there’s no end in sight for KIRAKU’s popularity.
Kadekaru is known across Okinawa for their delicious wonton ramen. Naturally, I just had to try it.
